We miss you!

Let’s start with positive news, the numbers of covid on island are currently stable for some weeks already. We only have 18 active cases, and are back to risk level 3! Which makes Bonaire one of the safest places to be.  While tourists and residents are still practicing social distancing and additional hygiene, there are very little other measures that would affect your stay on Bonaire. All restaurants, casinos, and shops are open and all activity providers are back in business! Jippie!

Also Bonaire is back to code yellow!

Current requirements for travel to Bonaire are as follows:

All travelers, 13 years and older, must show a negative coronavirus-test result in order to be able to travel to Bonaire.
Which coronavirus-test result that should be, depends on the country where you are traveling from.

Travelers from high-risk countries:
At the moment high-risk countries include the countries of South America, the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic and the Netherlands. For travelers from these countries the following applies:

Coronavirus tests for travelers to Bonaire from a high-risk country:
1. A negative NAAT-test result.
or
2. A negative PCR-test result and a negative Antigen-test result.

Also a completed Health Declaration Form is be needed to enter the island.

The US airlines (American Airlines + Delta) announced that they will be flying to Bonaire starting on June 5th!

What are the current measures on island?

What does risk level 3 mean?

* Restaurants and bars are open till 12 PM

* No curfew

* Events allowed with 50% capacity (no dancing of singing)

* Gyms are open with maximum of 50% capacity

* Hairdressers, nails salons, spa etc. are open

* Standard hygienic and distancing rules

* Casinos open till 2 AM
