Great small scale resort

Upon arrival at this resort you will be welcomed by Peter & Eef, they are the best! Friday was happy hour so we could join them straight after the flight for the homemade vodka punch. We were given a personal tour of the room and it soon turned out, this was the right choice. Everything is within walking distance and the small house reef is great. Several times we saw the sea horses, but also stonefish, rays and other fish make this reef very nice. The diving school is located on site and is also recommended. Meet Baukje and Johan and they will enthusiastically take you to all the great dive spots, maybe even to the east coast (where I saw sharks).

Unfortunately, on day 3 of our stay, a code orange was requested by the government which resulted in a "light" lock down. All restaurants and diving schools had to close. The National Park was also closed. Still, our stay has been fantastic. Code orange was no obstacle for us. Bonaire is a lovely island and maybe even more fun with code orange. It was wonderfully quiet so that we could fully enjoy everything.
