A new monthly covid update from Bonaire!
Lots of things changed in the last few weeks! The active numbers are very stable the last few weeks. Today we only have 4 active cases and no one on the IC. We are back to risk level 1 which means Bonaire has very little measures that would affect your stay on our beautiful island. All restaurants, casinos and shops are open, and activity providers are all in business.
Bonaire is still code yellow! Which makes Bonaire one of the most safes places to stay at the moment.
Current requirements for travel to Bonaire are as follows:
All travelers, 13 years and older, must show a negative coronavirus-test result in order to be able to travel to Bonaire.
Which coronavirus-test result that should be, depends on the country where you are traveling from.
Coronavirus tests for travelers to Bonaire:
1. A negative NAAT-test result.
or
2. A negative PCR-test result and a negative Antigen-test result.
Also a completed Health Declaration Form is be needed to enter the island.

We have 7 TUI + 7 KLM flights coming in from the Netherlands, and Delta and American airlines are also back to their normal schedule!
The government is working on a special program for fully vaccinated people. The idea is to let US citizen + people from the Netherlands enter the island without any tests. As soon as we have any news about this, we will let you know.

What does risk level 1 mean?
* Restaurants and bars are open till 12 PM
* No curfew
* Events allowed (dancing only outside)
* Gyms are open
* Hairdressers, nails salons, spa etc. are open
* Standard hygienic and distancing rules
* Casinos open till 2 AM
